Happy Birthday Daddy

It’s my Daddy’s 52nd Birthday.

Sadly, I won’t get to call him to tell him “Happy Birthday”.  He’s in his last 2 weeks of being in the state correctional facility.  Ugh, it still feels so un-natural typing that out.  My Dad, 20 year Air Force Veteran, former church deacon and respectable citizen of society gets himself in a downward spiral, loses control and loses everything.

It has been a very long 8 year ordeal.  He was sentenced in 2006 to 8 years in Prison, was released a few years later on Parole and stupidly became involved with a con-artist woman who strung him along, then set him up to get thrown in jail because she no longer could get money out of him.

I’m not going to spend much more time dwelling on what he did.  I will always love him and be in his life, even if he is an idiot.

 

Happy Birthday Daddy. I still love you.

    That what’s great about family. No matter what happens, no matter what comes between you.. You are still a family and you still love each other. Happy birthday to your dad.

    Happy Birthday to your Dad! I’m so sorry to hear about everything. But I know we all make mistakes. I’m glad to hear he’s getting out soon.
